reCharkha's Upcycled Handcrafted Snakes and Ladders is a playful board game with an environmental learning twist. It brings the familiar Snakes and Ladders game together with questions and fun facts about Environment Conservation and Sustainable Living, making it an engaging game for children, families, schools and groups.

A Game of Snakes, Ladders & Sustainability

Play the classic game of climbing ladders and sliding down snakes, while answering questions and discovering interesting facts about the Environment and Sustainable Living.

The additional question and fun fact cards introduce an element of learning without taking away from the simple, familiar gameplay.

How to Play

1. Lay out the Snakes and Ladders board on a flat surface.
2. Each player chooses a game piece and places it on the Start square.
3. Roll the wooden dice to decide who goes first. The player with the highest roll starts, followed by the others clockwise.
4. Roll the dice and move your piece forward by the number shown.
5. Land at the bottom of a ladder to climb up.
6. Land on a snake's head to slide down.
7. Roll a 6 to take another turn.
8. Reach square 100 exactly to win. If your roll takes you beyond 100, wait for your next turn.

Add a Sustainability Challenge

The game includes 9 question cards and 7 fun fact cards that add an environmental learning element to the traditional game.

Fun Fact Cards:
Whenever a player climbs a ladder or slides down a snake, they draw a Fun Fact Card and discover an interesting fact about Environment Conservation and Sustainable Living.

Question Cards:
Some squares feature both a snake and a ladder. When a player lands on one of these special squares, they draw a Question Card. Answer correctly and climb the ladder. Get it wrong and slide down the snake.

For bulk and corporate orders, the question and fun fact cards can be customized for different learning themes, educational contexts or specific requirements.

The game incorporates Upcycled Handwoven Waste Plastic Bags and Wrappers in its packaging/storage wrap, giving recovered Plastic a new use beyond its original life.

Each game upcycles approximately 30–40 Waste Plastic Bags and Wrappers and generates approximately 1–2 days of livelihood for Artisans.
